OPINION OF THE COURT

Respondent Mitchell L. Singer was admitted to the practice of *16law in the State of New York by the First Judicial Department on June 28, 1978, as Mitchell Lee Singer. At all times relevant to this proceeding, respondent maintained an office for the practice of law within the First Judicial Department.

By order entered November 26, 2002 (see 301 AD2d 336 [2002]), this Court immediately suspended respondent from the practice of law based upon his failure to cooperate with the Departmental Disciplinary Committee’s investigation into 20 complaints filed against him, his refusal…
