OPINION

MEYERS, Justice.

Appellant, Daryl Lynn Rasmussen, was convicted by a jury of theft of property valued at more than $750.00 but less than $20,000.00. See Tex.Penal Code Ann. § 31.03(e)(4)(A) (Vernon Supp.1991). Punishment enhanced by prior felony convictions was assessed by the jury at sixty years.

We affirm.

On August 4, 1990, Rasmussen picked up three cases of cigarettes from the Furr’s Supermart, put them on a dolly and attempted to leave the building with them. When Rasmussen was questioned by one of the employees about what he was doing, he said that he worked for the cigarette…
