*405This is an appeal from a judgment of the district court of the thirteenth judicial district, Yellowstone County, entered after the court directed a verdict in favor of defendant at the close of the case.

Plaintiff, Margaret Laurie, brought action to recover damages for injuries sustained in a fall down a stairway. Plaintiff was an employee of Colborn School Supply, Inc. Defendant, M & L Realty Corporation, owned the building in which Col-born operated its business.
