SMITH, Chief Judge.
The appellant appeals from an order denying relief prayed for under Criminal Procedure Rule No. 1, F.S.A. ch. 924 Appendix. We reverse.
An information was filed by the State of Florida against William Carlton King, Jr., charging him with grand larceny. The defendant appeared before the court for arraignment “in his own and proper person.” A record of the proceedings was made by the court reporter from which it appears that in response to questions of the Assistant State Attorney the defendant identified himself and stated that he was 24 years of age.
