This is an appeal by the defendant, Imo Industries, Inc. (Imp), from an order holding it in contempt for refusing to comply with a discovery order.
The underlying dispute in this case involves the performance of three steam turbines sold to the plaintiff, the Midwesco-Paschen Joint Venture for the Viking Projects (Midwesco), by Imo for use in Midwesco construction.
