Defendants move, pursuant to CPLR 3211 (a) (5), to dismiss *89the complaint in this action on the ground that it is barred by the Statute of Limitations. The motion is granted.

Defendants are The Order of Conventual Franciscan Friars of the Roman Catholic Church (the Franciscans), an order of Roman Catholic priests, Father Bruce Ritter, a member of the Franciscans, and Covenant House, a not-for-profit corporation located in New York City.
