This case is before the court on the Report and Recommendation of Magistrate Judge Gerrilynn G. Brill and the parties’ objections thereto.

I. STATEMENT OF THE CASE

A. Undisputed Facts

Defendant, Jefferson Smurfit Corporation, is engaged in the business of manufacturing containers. Plaintiff was hired by Defendant on November 4, 1994 as a probationary employee at its Stone Mountain facility.
