In a child support proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act *550article 4, the father appeals from an order of the Family Court, Nassau County (Marks, J.), dated March 29, 2005, which, inter alia, denied his objection to an order of the same court (Cahn, S.M.) dated January 5, 2005 denying his motion, in effect, to vacate his default in failing to appear for a hearing on the petition.
Ordered that the order is reversed, on the facts, with costs, the objection is sustained, the order dated January 5, 2005 is vacated, the motion is granted, and the matter is remitted to the Family Court, Nassau…
