Rubin, J.
On this appeal we are asked to decide whether the Family Court may apply the standard of a subsequent change in circumstances when it reviews a request for modification of maintenance obligations under a judgment of the Supreme Court which incorporates but does not merge the terms of a stipulation of settlement entered into by the parties after the effective date of the Equitable Distribution Law, July 19, 1980.
