A jury in the Superior Court convicted the defendants of unarmed robbery, G. L. c. 265, § 19. Guy Ahart was convicted as the principal actor in this purse snatching case, and Rolando Carr was convicted, under a joint venture theory, as the driver of the get-away car. 2 Ahart asserts as error the judge’s refusal to instruct the jury on the crime of larceny from the person, a lesser included offense of unarmed robbery.
