COFFEY, Circuit Judge.
James Humphreys was convicted after a jury trial of possession of a firearm by a felon. See 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). The district court found that he had three prior felony convictions for violent crimes and sentenced him to fifteen and one half years’ imprisonment under the Armed Career Criminal Act (“ACCA”). See 18 U.S.C. § 924(e)(1).
