delivered the opinion of the court.

The principal issue which confronts us on this appeal is whether or not appellees sustained by a preponderance of the evidence two pleas incorporated in their answer to the original bill of complaint in the Chancery Court of the First District of Hinds County, filed by appellants against them. By this suit, which is a proceeding by attachment in chancery, appellants sought, to collect from appellees the total sum of $15,824.85, because of a contract between, the parties, dated September 25, 1943.
