MEMORANDUM AND ORDER ■
O’CONNOR, Chief Judge.
This matter is presently before the court on plaintiff’s application for attorney’s fees and on defendant City Bank and Trust Company’s [City Bank] motion to alter or amend the judgment. We have reviewed the memoranda submitted by the parties and are now prepared to rule.
Plaintiff filed his action on May 18, 1982, alleging, inter alia, violations of 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981, 1983, and 1985. On January 5, 1983, the plaintiff moved to amend his complaint to add a cause of action for recovery under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended (42…
