In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for medical malpractice, etc., the defendant Vidya Patel appeals from (1) an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Taylor, J.), dated September 25, 2006, which denied her motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against her, and (2) an order of the same court entered March 14, 2007, which denied her motion for leave to reargue and granted the plaintiffs cross motion for leave to amend the complaint to add a cause of action to recover damages for intentional infliction of emotional distress.
