Plaintiffs in this case are five student-athletes on the St. Cloud State University (“SCSU”) women’s tennis team. About four months ago, SCSU announced that it intended to eliminate several of its intercollegiate sports teams, including the women’s tennis team, to address declines in enrollment and tuition revenue.
