GREENBERG, Circuit Judge.

John J. Rock seeks compensation under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Com pensation Act (Act), 33 U.S.C. § 901 et seq., for personal injuries sustained in the course of his employment with Sea-Land Service, Inc. (Sea-Land) as a “courtesy van” driver who transported passengers primarily within his employer’s marine terminal. This case presents the question of whether Rock was engaged in “maritime employment” and is thus entitled to compensation under the Act.
