Plaintiff’s husband lived approximately 24 hours following mortal injury caused by defendants’ wrongful act. Suit under the death act resulted in a judgment against the-defendants, in favor of the decedent’s personal representative, in the sum of $25,000. The judgment was duly satisfied. Distribution of the proceeds was made as provided by section 2 of the wrongful death statute (CL 1948, § 691.582 [Stat Ann 1959 Cum Supp § 27.712]), the present plaintiff as widow being one of the beneficiary-distributees.
