In a medical malpractice action, the appeal, as limited by appellants’ brief, is from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Smith, J.), dated January 20, 1981, as (1) granted the branch of plaintiffs’ motion which sought a further examination before trial of defendant Richard Fox, (2) denied appellants’ cross motion to dismiss the complaint and (3) dismissed the appellants’ first and second affirmative defenses.
