Defendant Frederick Anthony Sabo was convicted by a jury of three counts of armed robbery. He appeals following the denial of his motion and amended motion for new trial.
1. Defendant first enumerates as error the denial of his motion to sever the offenses for trial. A defendant has an absolute right to severance of offenses joined for trial where the offenses have been joined solely because they are similar in nature. Dingler v.
