This is an action under the Federal Employer’s Liability Act for the death of Otto Voorhees. Trial by jury in the Circuit Court -of Grundy County resulted in a verdict for plaintiffs in the sum of $8,000. Defendant was granted an appeal from the judgment entered on such verdict. This is a second appeal. On the first trial, plaintiffs secured- a- judgment for $6,000 and the same was, reversed, and the cause remanded for another trial by the Kansas City Court of Appeals. [7 S. W. (2d) 740.]
