MAGILL, Circuit Judge.
Dr. Brian Gwartz (Gwartz) appeals the district court’s order dismissing his diversity action against Jefferson Memorial Hospital (Jefferson) of Crystal City, Missouri, for failure to join an indispensable party. Gwartz argues that the district court erred because his professional corporation, Jefferson Anesthesia Associates (JAA), is neither a necessary party under Rule 19(a) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure nor an indispensable party under Rule 19(b).
