In this case, the plaintiff, a resident of the City of New York, seeks to recover the sum of $700 from the defendant, Ed. Bulliard, doing business as Evangeline Pepper Food Products, and engaged, amongst other manufacturing enterprises, in the manufacture of vinegar at St. Martinville. The basis of the suit is to enforce a contract allegedly made by correspondence.
