I. INTRODUCTION
Counsel’s proposed settlement of this Title VII action, 42 U.S.C.A. § 2000e, et seq. (1974), poses two issues for the Court’s resolution: If a class action is alleged by plaintiff but not as yet certified by the Court, and the proposed settlement is solely on behalf of the named plaintiff with no provision whatsoever for the putative class members, (1) is notice of the proposed compromise to potential class members necessary at this time; and (2) is the Court obligated under the law to review the reasonableness of the…
