This proceeding was begun by a petition for a writ of mandamus to compel the County Treasurer of Delaware County to satisfy of record the liens of taxes for the years 1931 to 1944, inclusive, upon certain real estate owned by the plaintiff and situate in the Borough of Lansdowne. A writ of alternative mandamus was allowed, issued, and served upon defendant, who filed an answer and return thereto, to which plaintiff demurred.
