Appellee, the trustees of schools, filed a bill against Clyde A. Chambers, appellant, and Southern Surety Company to reform four township, school treasurer’s bonds, each in the sum of $12,000, and to recover the amounts found to be due thereon. Chambers was elected township school treasurer in 1918 and was reelected every two years thereafter, up to and including 1924. Appellant was a surety on the bonds executed in 1918,1920 and 1924, and Southern Surety Company was on his bond for the term of 1922 to 1924. Issues were joined and upon a hearing before the court the bonds were reformed.…
