Petitioner, an inmate at a State prison, was charged with assaulting another inmate in violation of prison regulations. After an administrative hearing the charge was sustained and various sanctions were imposed including the loss of one year of "good time”. Petitioner unsuccessfully applied to the Appellate Division to have the determination set aside, claiming, as he does on this appeal, that the prison authorities violated his due process rights as well as their own regulations.
