Pending before the Court are defendants’ motions for summary judgment in this Title VII action.

BACKGROUND

The parties have submitted a Joint PreTrial Order (“JPTO”) stipulating to the factual assertions at issue.

Plaintiff Lawrence Lucas was hired on January 18, 1993, as an attendant in the Central Supply Department of defendant South Nassau Communities Hospital (“South Nassau”), and voluntarily resigned his employment on September 1, 1994.
