Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Lombardo, J.), rendered November 7, 1983, convicting him of murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial, after a hearing, of the defendant’s motion to suppress certain statements.

Justice Thompson has been substituted for the late Justice Gibbons (see, 22 NYCRR 670.2 [c]).
