Denman, J.
Defendant appeals from a judgment convicting him, after a *21jury trial, of criminally negligent homicide and sentencing him to IV3 to 4 years’ imprisonment. Defendant was convicted of causing the death by suffocation of the 21-month-old daughter of his girlfriend.
