MEYER, Justice.

Defendant Robert Lee Taylor pled guilty to one count of first-degree burglary and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Pursuant to these pleas, defendant was sentenced to the maximum term of life imprisonment on the burglary conviction and to a six-year term on the felonious assault conviction. In his appeal to this Court, defendant forwards for our consideration three assignments of error relative to the proceeding below. We have carefully considered the entire record and each of his assignments in turn, and we find no error.…
