In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the plaintiff appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Emerson, J.), dated June 10, 2003, which granted the motion of the defendant Karen Cormier for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against her and denied the plaintiffs cross motion for leave to amend the summons and complaint.

*390Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.
