Defendant, Michael Cavins, entered a plea of guilty to the charge of burglary. After a sentencing hearing in which defendant was sentenced to an extended term of 10 years’ imprisonment, defendant filed a motion to reconsider his sentence, which the Marion County circuit court denied.
