Defendants Donald and Debbie Ames appeal from entry of a judgment against them in Macon County circuit court for collection fees incurred by Donald’s medical provider, the plaintiff Decatur Imaging Center (Center). Defendants argue entry of the judgment is contrary to public policy because the agreement failed to specify how collection fees would be calculated. In the alternative, they argue the Center should have been required to establish the collection fees sought were reasonable.
