The county court of Mecklenburg, by its decree of the July term, 1870, directed among others, “an account to be taken by one of its commissioners” of the real and personal estate owned jointly by James Bowers and Sanford Bowers, at the death of Sanford Bowers. At the date of that decree, Mr. William Baskerville, Jr., was one of the commissioners of the court, and as such settled one of the accounts specified in the decree.
