This is an action brought by appellee, administrator of the estate of Sadie Harrison, deceased, against appellants, as owners of a certain building, to recover damages for the death of his intestate.
The first count of the declaration alleges that appellants were on March 30, 1901, the owners and lessors of a certain tenement house containing numerous apartments or rooms, with common passageways, landings and stairways leading-through said house to the various apartments or rooms of the same, and which passageways, stairways, etc., were used in common by the various tenants of said building,…
