Petitioner is a native of the Philippines who faces an order of deportation as a result of her presence in the United States after the expiration of her visa. Conti appeals to this court from a decision of the Board of Immigration Appeals (hereinafter the “BIA”) denying her motion to reconsider an earlier denial of a motion to reopen deportation proceedings for the purpose of seeking an adjustment of status.
