The questions involved in this controversy relate to the validity of two contracts for the sale of a valuable lot in the City of Knoxville and which of the two claimants is entitled to have a decree against the owner for specific performance.

The original bill was filed by Joe W. Black and Jack F. Black against their brother, Tom Q. Black, in which they allege that the latter orally agreed to sell them a lot on Henley Street in Knoxville for $15,000, and that following this agreement he and his wife executed a deed to the property, but failed and refused to deliver it and subsequently…
