MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
JUSTICE, District Judge.
Before the Court for consideration are the motion of claimant Robert Lee Yarborough to set aside default judgment *460and the motion of plaintiff United States to reconsider this Court’s prior order staying the sale of the respondent Chevrolet pickup truck in the above-entitled and numbered civil action. A rather detailed recital of the facts in this federal forfeiture proceeding is necessary to understand the parties’ contentions.
