Defendant appeals from a conviction of compelling prostitution, ORS 167.017,① on the ground that the testimony of the alleged compellee was not corroborated as required by ORS 167.022 which provides:

“A person shall not be convicted under ORS 167.012 or 167.017 solely on the uncorroborated testimony of the person whose prostitution he is alleged to have promoted or compelled.”
