In a proceeding pursuant to CELR article 78 to review a determination of the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Town of Islip dated July 20, 2004, which, after a hearing, denied the petitioners’ application for certain area variances, the petitioners appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Costello, J.), entered July 15, 2005, which denied the petition and dismissed the proceeding.

Ordered that the judgment is reversed, on the law, with costs, the petition is granted to the extent that the determination is annulled, and the matter is remitted to the Board of Zoning Appeals of…
