This suit was originally brought by respondent, as plaintiff, before a justice of the peace of the City of St. Louis, Missouri, against appellant, as defendant, upon the following statement: “For tuition and supplies of son Frank Viviano, 1929-1930 school year, $485.43.” The justice found in favor of plaintiff- in the sum of $454.50, and defendant appealed to the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis, where a trial before the court, a jury having been waived, resulted in a judgment in favor of plaintiff against defendant for $300, with interest from December 9, 1929, amounting to $126,…
