BARNES, Presiding Judge.
Following a bench trial, the trial court found Eric Lamont Dixon guilty of the armed robbery of a Cherokee County convenience store and the aggravated assault of one of its employees. The trial court denied Dixon’s motion for new trial, resulting in this appeal.1 Dixon contends that the trial court erred in admitting similar transaction evidence of five armed robberies committed in neighboring Bartow County in which Dixon was one of the alleged perpetrators.
