This case is before this Court upon appeal of a final order of the Circuit Court of Kanawha County entered on May 11, 2009. In that order, the circuit court entered judgment against the appellant and respondent below, Jean K.,1 in favor of the appellee and respondent below, Michael T., in the amount of $72,493.40, which represented his attorney’s fees and costs incurred in this abuse and neglect proceeding.
