This is an appeal from the allowance of a claim in favor of appellee and claimant against the estate of Chauncey H„ *910Allen, deceased, based upon an alleged verbal promise of the said deceased to pay $25 per month or see that that amount was paid if appellee would consent to the entry of an allowance and award of $25 per month for the support and maintenance of minor children of appellee, and Amos C. Allen in an action in the district court for Lincoln County, Nebraska, wherein appellee had obtained a divorce from Amos C. Allen. In the district court the claim was allowed and judgment rendered…
