The plaintiff in error was arrested and committed by a circuit court commissioner, upon complaints made by two separate creditors, under the chapter of the statutes entitled “Of the punishment of Fraudulent Debtors.” — 2 Comp, B. p. 1411. The charges found by the commissioner to have been sustained, were for fraud in contracting- the' debt in one case, and for fraudulently assigning and disposing of his property in both.
