Edith Fatherly, hereafter called plaintiff, recovered a judgment against Louis Snyder and Larry Cohen, hereafter called defendants, for slander and insulting Words.
The case was tried three times. On the first trial the jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff for 11,500.00, which was set aside by the court because it Was of opinion that it had given an instruction which was erroneous. The second trial resulted in a verdict and judgment for the plaintiff for $3,000.00.
