This suit was filed by William Adams for workmen’s compensation benefits against his employer Ovide LaCour and/or Ó. B. LaCour d/b/a O. B. LaCour Plantation and its compensation carrier St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company. The lower court rendered judgment in favor of petitioner for 28 weeks of temporary total disability recognizing that this had been previously paid by defendants, plus an award for permanent partial disability of the body as a whole for 472 weeks payable at the rate of $12.50 per week.
