Respondent Charles Scully, Superintendent of New York’s Greenhaven Correctional Facility (the “State”) appeals from a judgment entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Sweet, J., granting petitioner Roosevelt Bentley’s (“petitioner” or “Bentley”) petition for a writ of habeas corpus, 851 F.Supp. 586. Appellant seeks reversal of the district court’s decision on several grounds.
