MURPHY, Circuit Judge.
The Public Service Company of New Hampshire hired Siemens to replace a turbine in one of its power plants. BendTec, Inc. manufactured steam pipes for the new turbine as a subcontractor for Siemens. After the turbine was turned on, it became damaged by fine grit. The utility and its insurers sued BendTec for negligence, alleging that its pipes were the source of the grit and had been improperly cleaned. The district court 1 granted summary judgment to BendTec, concluding that the negligence claim was barred under the two year limitations period in Minn.Stat. § 541.051…
