THACKER, Circuit Judge:

The survivors of John R. Leichling sued Honeywell International, Inc., alleging that Mr. Leichling’s fatal lung cancer resulted from exposure to toxins during his employment at the Dundalk Marine Terminal in Baltimore, Maryland, where Honeywell operates a chemical manufacturing plant.
